With the move here to Poal, I wanted everyone to get settled in before doing any mod-like things besides removing those that hate, mock, or sneer at us through their words.

The sidebar on the right needs a bit of work. If anyone would like to work with me on wording or rules or clarifications or links, I'm happy to accept the help.

ON THE SIDEBAR is a nice little legal(not-legal)/cancel-culture disclaimer that doubles as a Voat-PV disclaimer. Feel free to read through it and forget about it entirely as you post here.

For those of you that notice shill/anti-Q/anti-Trump activity, PLEASE ping me to it and don't respond sarcastically (or at all). Responding sarcastically makes YOU look anti-Q when I browse through your comment history. Mistakes were made, and many apologies were had; not fun. If you want to engage them, feel free to post anything pro-Q outside of here and you'll have PLENTY of those types to banter with.

How to ping: @Crensch <--- that's a ping. Place it anywhere in your comment and I'll get a notification.

Also on the sidebar are posting rules. Please pay attention to them. Too many low-effort/no-context/unsupported-claim posts and I'll have to do mod things.

I don't want to do mod things beyond removing those that hate us.

As a community, try and help each other raise the bar for posts. If you posted and someone is telling you that your post is lacking, it could be that your post is lacking. It could be that they're wrong. Work it out if you can.

So you are recommending censorship with any who disagree with your ideology? How Democrat National Communist of you. We need intelligent opposition here to defend (((all))) views. Even if the narrow minded from (((both))) sides of the debate make noise. Censorship is what the control freaks require to silence opposition. So are you for control freaks who abuse moderation powers? Serious question that requires reasoned logic to continue.

It has nothing to do with free speech and everything to do with off-topic posts. Would you go to an antique car sub and talk about your baby doll collection? No. Same thing.

This sub is pro-Trump, pro-Patriot and pro-Q research - If you disagree with that ideology, then you need to find a sub suited to your beliefs.

This is not a free speech sub. The sub has a very specific purpose, and your opinion on that purpose or what we do with our sub is absolutely irrelevant.

I don't know that this is so much not a free speech sub as it is an "on topic" sub - as every sub should be. Free speech does not mean "no consequences" speech. We have the right to tell the flight attendant there's a bomb in our carry-on, but that right doesn't mean we're free from the consequences of our words. Similarly, shills/trolls have the right to say what they want, but if that's outside of the parameters of the sub, there are consequences for that, i.e. being asked to leave.

Too many subs have been destroyed by infiltration under the guise of "free speech."

You're absolutely right. The reason I say it the way I do is because they are not here for any kind of discussion. If I shut them down and tell them that this is not a free speech sub, they can go spread the word.

It's too tiresome to get into the finer details of what's really going on here, and none of them save maybe one in the past couple of years has taken the time to understand what's going on. Just not worth the time. I'd rather them think we're awful people that hate freedom because I really don't care what they think.

Also, more of that pick your battles because you don't have infinite resources kind of thing
