And prominent Trump haters are leaving the GOP. The Lincoln Project is dead. Why is all of this happening at the same time, if Trump is defeated? Would this be a time for Trump's enemies to consolidate power and purge the GOP of Trumpism? It's almost like people are being visited and told that they need to resign or retire if they don't want to be destroyed. 1+ Or maybe they're getting the equivalent of a horse's head in their bed. Nothing as crude, of course. And what did they TELL their visitors before they left? Clandestine war is SMART war. Let me offer you a choice: 1. You get the world you want, at the cost of allowing SOME people to avoid orange jumpsuits. OR. 2. You pursue orange jumpsuits at the cost of putting off getting the world you want.
