The democrats have already written the proposal to reduce the size of Washington DC to only a few govt. buildings- Whitehouse, Capitol building, and a few other key buildings.
Their plan is written in a way to skirt around the constitution, and create a 51st state with the remainder of DC, while technically leaving Washington DC in place. This is actually happening right now.
I believe the fencing is going to be the border for the new Washington DC. The castle for the totalitarian overlords to rule over the peasants. And the 51st state will act as a buffer zone of state mandated authoritarian rules designed to keep the proles at a distance.

The lack of information and movement is quite fucked. They got bills talking about raping gun rights, and “domestic terrorism” shit that’s sounding pretty communism.
The smart move would be to let them hold DC at the expense of the state capitals. Let them choose between DC or Montpelier, then DC or Harrisburg, etc. It would only take about 30 lads to seize a capitol building if they weren't expecting it
