I'll use my car buying sense here. NEVER buy a car in it's first model year. Any issues with the new design present themselves in the infant mortality phase of the product lifecycle. These design flaws, engineering flaws are usually remedied through redesign or updates in the following model year. Given Musk's success at getting the bugs out of his Tesla cars, I'll take a pass on that space shot.
