I believe that President Trump has put all those lawyers through the crucible before choosing his team. Of course the optics are supposed to be that Trump is a private citizen, so he will play that role for now in public. Despite the optics, these Senators are knowingly violating the Constitution by engaging in an unconstitutional process which is of no force or effect. OR is it that they secretly know that he remains Commander-In-Chief of the Military and are desperate to remove Trump, being that he is an obstacle for Biden to ever take power? I can only guess at what is really going on. Nonetheless, it just annoys me that Nancy pants, the ChiCom Turtle and Shummer are getting their way with another of many shams just to demean this good man in public.
