My personal opinion on this is... They are doing this in the hope of fomenting a civil war. As soon as there is a huge uprising, they will have their justification to bring in outside elements. They know that AMERICA is pissed off, but it is not enough, just yet.

In light of what we know, this ^ is the most logical reason I can think of. i.e. to piss off those who don't know what we know enough to revolt. I don't think it will work, however.

All the commentary on the EO's is a waste of time. Trump and the military are driving this. Just let the show play out. Fake Joe is (badly) following a script.

You're missing the point. The point is this Biden administration knows it's not legal and does not have much time. What little time they have will be used to impeach Trump (take him out) so life can go on like before and push through these EO's in hopes that if one is achieved then 2 will be legal.
Trump's team / Military Intelligence have other plans. Not sure what's holding things up, perhaps suitcase nike type threats, but there time is short.

Mostly it is optics to pose a picture of power and control to the American public. When you are a fake president, living in a fake White House, and publish mountains of fake EOs and the fake news is all about the fake reversal of all things Trump, then, as Sun Tzu says, when you are weak, appear strong.... to fake the citizens into believing you are in control.

An Order, whether it is from the 'Executive' or 'Governor', Mayor', 'City Counsel', or 'School Board', is an ORDINANCE, which is NOT Law. An Ordinance is an Order. Only the legislature can make Law. An Order or Regulation is INFERIOR to legislated Law. Courts have ruled on this clearly.
So, an Order is always INFERIOR to legislated Law. It is always INFERIOR to Constitutional Rights. When an Order conflicts with the Law it is null and void. An Order cannot legally be enforced outside of its government property (jurisdiction). Only legislated law can be enforced on non-governmental property.
