FTA: "An attorney licensing body on Friday said it has asked L. Lin Wood, a lawyer who played a key role in Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn his election defeat, to undergo a mental health evaluation.

Wood said on the app Telegram on Thursday that the State Bar of Georgia had told him he needed to submit to the evaluation to keep his law license.

“My mind is sound. I have broken no rules. I asked what I had done wrong. I was only told it was about my social media comments. My speech,” he wrote.

Wood did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

State Bar of Georgia Chief Operating Officer Sarah Coole confirmed that Wood had been asked to undergo a mental health evaluation but declined to comment further."

I agree the kid is an asshole but why should he give the money back? Wood wasn't the one defamed by the media, that was Sandman.

Just making a point about gratitude....libel/slander vs big media isn't an easy way to make a living.

Lin Wood reached out to Sandman--who wasn't even looking to sue the media---and told him "you have a case, I can win it for you."

Lin Wood made himself rich and famous by taking that case.

I know its tempting to think that nothing existed before your birth around the year 2000, but Lin Wood got rich and famous by repping Richard Jewell, first defending him re: Atlanta Olympics bombing and then suing the media on his behalf. Multiple famous clients and national-news cases.

He has been prominent for decades and rich enough to have donated $1 million to Mercer U, which is in the news now for trying to remove Wood's name from a building.

BTW, he did all of this on his own as his Dad murdered his Mom when he was 16...and he worked his way through Mercer U undergrad and law school....He's a better man than any of his critics I've seen so far.
