Money is as money does. It makes no difference whether you use it to buy a pillow--or a cannon. As long as the purchase or denial thereof has the means to make kings, or bring them to their knees. Money is consent. Provide it, and you consent to how it is spent, including when it is spent against you. Withdraw that money, that purchase though, and watch it's purveyors shrivel. Withdraw your money from the system, and you withdraw your consent to be governed.
