wrong your constitution says "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside".
You didn't read far enough. The key phrase is in the 14th amendment:
Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
"born...in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof..."
I believe that this has been misinterpreted for a long time. But somebody born here in the USA of non-citizen parents is not "subject to the jusrisdiction thereof," they are subject to the jusrisdiction of their parents country that they are citizens of.
