“The mob who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 to try to stop Congress from carrying out its constitutional responsibilities were behaving like domestic enemies of our country,” Gabbard said. “But let’s be clear, the John Brennans, Adam Schiffs and the oligarchs in Big Tech who are trying to undermine our constitutionally protected rights and turn our country into a police state with KGB-style surveillance are also domestic enemies — and much more powerful, and therefore dangerous, than the mob that stormed the Capitol.”

A female Marco Rubio.

I still find it strange that she's legitimately calling out Brennan and Schiff. Why do you think she is doing that? How does this benefit the DS?

........ you do understand that they pander to both sides, correct?

Tulsi wants to take your guns. She's on record as saying so. Nothing else matters. She's not on your side.

I’ll fight her on that. John Brennan needs to be stopped. She’s right on this one. No one is saying we should elect her emperor.

There are pro-2A republicans who want you rounded up.

So we absolutely should praise any politician who believes that our civil liberties are important, that our constitutional rights should be upheld, they should be praised for that every single time they do it. I don’t care what party. I don’t care what else they might be wrong about. We live in an age where saying what she just said took courage. We can fight with her on guns tomorrow. We need to save our country and need all the help we can get.

You are right that she’s not on our side, probably on a lot of issues. Not just guns. But we aren’t liberals with a purity test. We can take people as they come, judge them in a dynamic way, not just an on and off switch. She has some loathsome beliefs, but she has some on which we align. And that’s important right now. Very important.

And yet she holds up constitutional rights in this video.

I agree, all dems want to take our guns. A key part of their platform for decades.

It just seems really strange for her to come out against her own party, I can't see how this inevitably can help the DS.

Did you happen to notice those on the left lie as easily as they breathe? (Dripping with sarcasm, no less)

Technically, everyone on both sides of the aisle should stand up for the civil liberties of their fellow citizens, even if they disagree with them on certain issues.

She’s either faking it, or she is sincere, but she does have a track record of sticking up for civil liberties. I mean we keep talking about how we have truth on our side why are we surprised that someone would see it? Why are we surprised that someone from the party of JFK will see what is blatantly obvious, that powerful people are trying to control our nation through illegal surveillance and intimidation tactics?

The question shouldn’t be whether or not she is sincere, the question should be why there aren’t way more people in both parties saying exactly what she is saying.

When we protect speech we protect all speech, popular or not, it is our duty as Americans to protect the speech of people we disagree with. I am pro life but I don’t want to silence the opinions of those who are pro-choice. That’s un-American.

B/C her opinions on a retired spook and 1 House member are really unimportant. She is claiming space in the Dem Party for national office; like she did by arguing with CamelToe or criticizing Hillary.

The only reason we're discussing it is somebody referenced it in yet another "Tulsi!!" thread. I refuse to be grateful to someone for merely not wishing political opposition into camps.... By the same token, I don't give credit to a co-worker for not taking a dump on the table in the break room.

Gabbard has the same policy positions as Mazie Hirono, the bedwetter whose seat she took when Hirono went to the Senate.
