Republicans control 31 State Legislatures. State Legislatures control the manner of appointing Presidential Elector appointment. This does not require a governors signature, simply the Legislatures approval. This HR 1 Constitutionally would only cover the elections of US Senators and Representatives and not the elections of State Legislatures. So if those 31 Republican State Legislatures choose to appoint their States' Electors by the party that wins the majority of their 2024 elections with proportional division in such cases where 1 party wins 1 house and the other party wins the other house. This would effectively render hr 1 irrelevant to the next Presidential election. However Article 1 sec. 4 does allow a 1 party Congress to takeover US Congressional elections. We have to try this route in our States to stop this leftist takeover of the Country. I see no other avenues for our peaceful defense.
