Not sure if this will help, and others can feel free to correct me, but a little extra knowledge might help you draw your own conclusions.

The main thing to take note of is what type of aircraft they were. A whole bunch of Apaches with Little Bird spotters is way different than people movers. If they were Blackhawks, Hueys or Chinooks (the big, double blade jobs), then they're going somewhere to pick people up or drop them off.

7 Blackhawks can shoehorn what, 7-8 grunts each? So, 49-64 groundpounders maximum delivered somewhere? That's a platoon

That site is not based upon true radar. It merely shows planes that squawk (send telemetry). Mil craft can be silent.

Clear the 'net. You're stepping on comms that make sense to those that understand them.

What's the standard wing compliment of the local NG's TOE versus active duty? Attack wing versus air mobile troop insertion? What units are stationed in the maximum operational range? Some of us know the answers to these questions.

What may seem redundant and useless to you, others find as more current intel than the Department of Propoganda is spewing at us.
