He should. And I really don’t like his politics. But I hope he’ll be OK. He was at a convention in the Northeast a number of years ago, and I took my son because he was really into Batman at the time. Pat was there, we knew each other a little bit, but not much. He went out of his way to introduce us to a few people, and my son got to meet Adam west and get some cool autographs. He was very nice. He does have a reputation on Capitol Hill for his kindness. I’m really looking forward to his retirement but not his death. He’s kind of a sweet old man even though he’s a prick politically. Oh, just for clarification, Patrick Leahy wrote a forward to something related to comics at one point, and I think that’s why he was there. I guess he’s really into Batman also. Fucking weirdo.
