Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) defended attending President Joe Biden’s inauguration and said she “can’t stand people that have one rule for others, and a different one for themselves.”

Whitmer told WOOD TV why it was acceptable for her to go to the inauguration:

To the Point host Rick Albin noted many people on the station’s Facebook page pointed out Whitmer’s apparent hypocrisy over attending the event in Washington, D.C., while just weeks earlier, telling families to avoid traveling or seeing their loved ones at Christmas.

“Anyone who would have watched would have seen that we were spaced out, we were outside, and we were masked up,” Whitmer said.

“So that is how we can live and enjoy some important aspects to life and stay safe. I have been following the same directives I have asked everyone else to. I can’t stand those people that have one rule for others and a different one for themselves,” she said.

In May, Whitmer’s husband, Marc Mallory, was accused of attempting to use his connection to the governor as a means to get his boat in the water more quickly after Whitmer’s lockdown closed that industry, creating a backup.

“This morning, I was out working when the office called me, there was a gentleman on hold who wanted his boat in the water before the weekend,” company owner Tad Dowker said at the time. “Being Memorial weekend and the fact that we started working three weeks late means there is no chance this is going to happen.”

He continued, “Well our office personnel had explained this to the man and he replied, ‘I am the husband to the governor, will this make a difference?’”

“I have abided by these precautions but also recognize as the governor of a state — an important state — that played an important role in this inauguration having been invited and having made a decision very close to one when I had to come out here I know that this is a moment that is really important for our state,” Whitmer said.

She claimed her appearance was necessary to foster a close relationship with a Biden White House.

“This was something it was an honor to be [at], and I followed all the protocols and I encourage people to do so, as well,” Whitmer said.

“If you are planning to travel or gather with other households for the holidays — we urge you to reconsider,” Whitmer and several Midwest governors said in a joint statement in December, according to the Detroit News.

“Just one infection can cause an outbreak in your community, which could overwhelm our hospitals and put you and your loved ones at risk. We owe it to the brave men and women serving on the front lines of this pandemic to do our part and be smart this holiday season.”

Once there were two people, one were well armed, the other were poorly armed.

The poorly armed people advocated for the equalization of all weapons, for without an equal degree of strength, the strongest could just conquer the other peoples, there should be common rules that everyone should follow, no people were to have military superiority over another.

The well armed people were convinced into dumping all weapons in excess of those possessed by the poorly armed, so that they had an equal amount of weapons to the poorly armed people, think that now that both were equally armed, there would be no problems, it was fair.

But the poorly armed people picked up the weapons discarded by the well armed people, they had also kept the weapons they pretended to discard, and now they had superior armaments. They immediately set to conquering the people who were previously the better armed of the two.

Those people were now facing their defeat, but they had a plan for victory, they said "we followed the rules, but you did not, you advocated for those rules, yet you were the ones who broke them", and thus they established that their attackers were hypocrites and traitors to their word.

The other side ignored these claims, as they already knew them to be true, but counted this as a sign of their superiority, not inferiority, only a suicidally naive fool would buy into their disarmament idea and expect it not to be used against them, so they butchered their weakened victims, and took their empire for themselves.

The end.

There is one clear winner here, if you think there are two winners for any reason, you might be a conservative.

Might be an conservative? I think you mean progressive liberal. KMFAO!!!! If you think for a minute that conservatives would be, "convinced into dumping all weapons in excess of those possessed by the poorly armed, so that they had an equal amount of weapons to the poorly armed people, think that now that both were equally armed, there would be no problems, it was fair",.......... then you have a deep, deep misconception of the conservative philosophy. That clear winner only won because they weren't dealing with conservatives. They were dealing with dumb ass fucking liberals.

Guns aren't the only weapons there are. Ethnocentrism is but one of many weapons the conservatives have all to willingly laid down at the feet of their enemies. In every case where there are double standards, they were standards that the right should never have adopted in the first place. Everything needs to be centered around "you vs them", all standards need to be self-serving, everything that benefits you and yours is good, and anything that hurt you or yours is bad, anything that benefits those who want to hurt you or yours is bad, and anything that hurts them is good. Conservatives cling to the idea of a universal standard, and it is killing them, all they get for insisting on rules and such is their ability to gloat about how they are morally superior for abiding by some objective set of rules or laws, while the enemy destroys them without any trouble precisely because of this. focus on finding what it takes to win, and on executing that action, lets hold them responsible for rules that we ourselves are willing to give ourselves a pass for breaking, just like they do.

Yeah? Well we hate people who can’t keep their faces from being so shiny that they blind anyone watching their interviews. Seriously you greasy bitch, wash your fucking face.
