There hasn't been accountability in decades.
The only option is to revoke your consent to be governed. Unfortunately, the Revoke movement needs to hit a critical mass to have any effect, and that seems very unlikely.
I was hoping that the q movement would find the Revoke movement appealing, but that hasn't been evident so far.
