Published on Jan 24, 2021 Senator Marco Rubio has brushed off the prospect of a political challenge from Ivanka Trump as speculation mounts over the family's next move.

At least three members of the Trump family are reportedly considering runs for office.

“I don’t really get into the parlour games of Washington; I don’t need to tell you that when you decide to run for state election in a state like Florida, you have to be prepared for its competitive race, you run it like a competitive race and that’s what I’m prepared to run,” Mr Rubio said.

Curtin University’s Professor Joe Siracusa says a senate seat could only be just the beginning for Ivanka Trump, adding she would likely have a shot at the presidency.

You raise a good point. What should the qualifications be?

A strong background in constitutional law is a premium qualification for a senator in my opinion. Senators should have some kind of legal background, or deep (family, career) connections with federal politics at a minimum.

I'm more of the opinion that the overflow of attorneys in Congress has hurt our Republic. We use maritime law, not civil law, and it seems to me that the public should be able to understand the laws their representatives enact. Not an expert on the topic, but this is interesting:

the principle intent of this “missing” 13th Amendment was to prohibit lawyers from serving in government.

kikes have ruined our republic. we sure as hell do NOT need a recent convert kike, who is married to the most vile disgusting backstabbing kike involved in politics today.
