its pretty unlikely, the whole reason we are entering a new age of war fare is that direct war between two super powers will destroy both, if china is going to lose they will send a load of nukes, the same for america, in order to take over a country you pretty much have to take over their government
its pretty simple to take china down, there is one dam thats failure would mean millions dead, the water supply being fucked, the agriculture would be fuck, and the refugees would cause a massive problem too
and that is a simple strike, if you wanted to be nasty about it, well the vast majority of chinas farm land is fed by run off from Tibet, that is a real critical weakness and could be used to destroy china easily, the majority of the farm land in china could be destroyed over night and you could blame it on Tibetan terrorists too but that still leaves china with nukes and a massive military and only enough water and arable land to feed 1/20 of their people
The active CCP is actually a small group of people who do not have the support of the Chinese people. It might actually be pretty easy to take them down without destroying much infrastructure.
