Good work. I'm still not fully convinced and it is of some interest that finding them was so hard. On the Trump inauguration it's very easy

There were more people saluting but they were Capitol police. There were also a couple of hand-salute commands as the marching bands marched by, but I really didn’t feel those counted. What I was really hoping to find was Marines not saluting, but it seemed like every time Biden walked by them they were holding flags, rifles. Or in the case where Biden mumbles to himself “salute the marines” or whatever that was, you could see they were actually holding open the doors and so they are not required to salute...

I was going to comment that I believed the folks standing on either side of the trail of polyticks, are on 'Honor Guard' duty, and just to point out, that Honor Guard salutes when the Officers, admin etc... walk past.

I still dont think it counts, as I said, they salute, thats what they do, more like opening a door though.

Yeah it’s difficult to tell on Inauguration Day, that’s why I would like to see a video of some Marines throwing him a salute

Or the national guard not saluting him. It’s surreal, two completely different worlds. All of this pomp and circumstance inside DC, and then the there’s the real world just outside the perimeter of the Capitol building with the national guard. It’s almost like DC is being quarantined...
