As much as I hate Amazon, they dont have to give their servers to anybody.

Amazon is subsidized by the taxpayer. From the standpoint of our corrupt legal system, you may be right, but from the standpoint of the foundational principles that underpin our republic, we demand transparency.

Amazon wields their power like a nation-state and should be treated as such.
