Been thinkin' about corruption....well used word of late. But what strikes me is that there is so much money flying around you can with intent corrupt almost anyone. Set aside politicians for a moment. Ask yourself how can you corrupt people/voters to vote for you? What do you promise them? 15 USD an hour min wage? Free healthcare? (no such thing) Safety? (always a cost to freedom there). Welfare? Public housing? Increase in unemployment payments? Pandemic relief checks? ....feel free to add to the list. Propaganda only goes so far. It needs some juice to take effect. Been thinkin' that many of us have been corrupted with money. The same that controls the Elite. Yes blackmail is part of it at the top but money is always the juice that makes them give in.
Depends on how one was raised. I have grandkids that proved I passed the torch. Morality and Integrity trump money from every angle. You can have all the money you earn
