Here we are with Merkel https://theculturetrip.com/north-america/usa/new-york/new-york-city/articles/home-decor-inspiration-to-take-from-trumps-white-house/

Striped wallpaper throughout

But in the "welcome home Danny" picture from 2019 the wallpaper was the "Biden" wallpaper. This picture looks like a film set though

Now the Washington Post tell us that there is a new wallpaper that looks really old and is the same one from the Trump picture in 2019

What is going on?

Did Trump also have a real and fake Oval office?

+++Edit - Solved: The striped wallpaper went in Trump's major renovation. in 2017, according to this article in the Atlantic. So any references from WaPo or anyone else that Biden changed it are false.

Biden does indeed have the same wallpaper that Trump had installed after he took office. Trump inherited Obama's striped wallpaper the day he moved into the Oval Office too.

An incoming President can choose furnishings from storage to have placed in the oval office and the private residence when he enters the WH on day 1 (January 20th). Renovations cannot occur until afterward. Only after January 20th does the process start. A team is assigned to work with the new President to identify new designs and set a budget. All designs must conform to standards set by the WH historical committee and be approved. This is before ANY work is done (e.g. like hanging wallpaper). The approval process also ensures that unacceptable designs are not implemented. For example, Obama couldn't just paint a mural on a wall in the WH because he knows an artist and thinks it would be cool.

You sound unhinged.

Why don't you do some research before you attack? You clearly do none.

Read it for yourself here:

Is Biden only allowed access to the fake Oval office?

This seems the logical conclusion.

Do you know why this post is padlocked?

Yes. The link is insecure.

That is the Clinton rug. Castle Rock Pictures has a Clinton Oval Office clone except for the couches.

So, let's get back to the significance of this. I think it is plausible a stage-set is used for interviews. It's possibly that it has been used in perhaps a long line of several presidents. If you think about it, it's actually a pretty good idea. For security purposes, avoid unvetted individuals from entering the Oval office. This is for maintaining security (listening devices, biological and chemical agents, etc.).

So, there seems to be somewhat of a fixation with the different wallpaper. Again, so what? Even if Biden was pictured in the Oval office, how do you know this is the actual Oval office or a set? What if Biden is actually occupying the Oval office? So what? Is Biden president? Is he president of a defunct corporation? Or is he the sworn-in president?

The wallpaper and Oval office isn't evidence for whether Biden is president.

The wallpaper and Oval office isn't evidence for whether Biden is president.

No criticism here. Just trying to understand the significance. What's the message here? Does the wallpaper somehow prove Biden isn't the President? It's all fake? Do you see, why this seems to be a dead end? How do we know it isn't a stage set? How do we know what is real? In the end, it doesn't get us anywhere. There needs to be sound evidence, which by the way, seems to be extremely elusive.
