The latest victim of Twitter censorship is ironically enough the official account for China's Embassy in the US.

As Bloomberg reports the embassy posted a tweet referring derogatorily to Uighur women as "baby-making machines". It appeared to be a rationale for government intervention and 're-education' of the Muslim minority population in China lest they breed too much, according to the bizarre message's apparent rationale.

Twitter confirmed it locked the account, telling Bloomberg on Wednesday night: "We have taken action on this Tweet for violating our policy against dehumanization."
