Anyone with knowledge if this is standard operating or are they supposed to salute and face attention towards (fake) president motorcade?
Not standard operating procedure. Doubt they are supposed to salute. I'll try to remember to ask. My husband is retired - 30 years AF and National Guard - He is with his buddies at a remote location for the next few days. When I told him about the Guard turning their backs, he kinda chuckled and said, 'Cool'...Kek.
Okay thank you. Yeah nothing is adding up logically with the invading force in DC for a virtual Inauguration.
I just talked to him. He said he'd thought about it and didn't think they had been ordered to turn away, but could have been. He hadn't seen the video, so I sent it to him. Hopefully he will get it and hopefully I will hear more about it later. Cheers.
