My bro was in up in Ft. Drum for training when my mom had a massive stroke. His wife was calling all over the place to get through to him (no phones were allowed there) Long Story short he had to get special permission to leave. The military actually called the hospital where my mom was in the ICU to make sure that he wasn't making up a story to get out of his military duty. They gave him leave and he made it to her bedside the night before she passed away. I know she was waiting for him to come home before she passed. He was the baby of our family. God Bless everyone. I know we will be in good hands with our Military in Control.
