This book streamlines with Dave MacGowan in some ways that are interesting....Tom O Neill's Chaos : Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties.

Thanks for that.
It's an interesting read.
A good read.
After reading this I thought of a line in the Grateful Dead song US Blues.
“I’m Uncle Sam... hiding out in a rock n roll band”
love McGowan; thanks for posting! def great for in the mean time reading. :-)
True! This is fascinating. I have the book. It was also one of the last things I ordered from Amazon to give to a friend who will soon be recovering from a medical procedure. Thanks for the link. I used to have it, but can't find it. It was meant to be! Kek!
Is everything fake? Sheesh. Great read btw.

Don't think all your favorite musicians from that era were in on it.
Most of them were used unknowingly.
Jim Morrison was escaping from his authoritarian father, a high ranking military officer in the Navy.
Many others came from military families as well, and were also escaping.
Many Deep State military families allowed their kids to be used in MKULTRA programs.
Many of those kids who escaped to Laurel Canyon gave us the most inspiring and timeless music we have ever heard.
I still listen to Jim and many others....
Something appropriate to listen to:
The author eludes to most of what you said but it's all beyond just coincidental. The same people controlled both sides of the pro-war and anti-war narrative. Must be by design.
