I said it leading up to the event that they weren’t going to do anything, and tough talkers told me it was coming. It never came. Now when I bring it up they tell me it’s going to come. They had their chance. I’ll never believe them. Ever. That was it. That was their chance.
“I’ll get them next time” doesn’t work. “I could have” doesn’t work.
