It's hard because they're trying to hide it, and there's no manual to offer up. Over time when you get exposed you'll recognize them everywhere. The most common symbols are the girl-lover and boy-lover. One is spiral circle and the other is a spiraling triangle. Also a spiraling heart shape. It's disgusting when you notice these at places where kids are left in the care of others.
