No he didn’t. He said transition “of” military power. Otherwise this would be all over the news all over the world.

For a group of people that consider ourselves detectives, we really don’t use logic a whole lot, do we.

Oh, and let me add this ninja edit: it’s still damned usual, isn’t it? To refer to it this way if it’s just security? Understanding all the tension is going on right now, because he’s not an imbecile, he hast to understand that lefties are worried that this is more than just security and he went out of his way almost to avoid assuaging their fears.I’m 100% certain he said “of.” But it doesn’t mean it’s not, and at least one or two ways, very very interesting.

Sounded like "with a peaceful transition to military power" to me. +1 to the OP.

It's difficult to hear what anyone's saying when they talk through one of those stupid fucking muzzles.

fucking face diapers, so over it

It’s really not funny but it made me laugh out loud because it’s such a good observation. It’s reason 7348 why we shouldn’t be wearing the damn things. Can you imagine starting World War III over a mask mumble?

Yeah, the soldier might not have meant it this way, but he damn sure said exactly that.

And not one major news organization on the planet picked up on it. OK. Everyone in the other two threads on this exact same subject heard “of”. Three other forums I go to everybody heard “of.” Hey, I would be thrilled to be wrong. So I’m hoping you can call me dummy later. I mean you can call me that now because I am… But will pretend it’s not true

He definately said, "of military power." But transitions only occur when the military returns power back to civilian authorities. Otherwise it's a transfer of power from one civilian administration to another. He very definately implied the military currently has the lawful power of the United States of America. You can argue he mispoke, but this is the inference he provided.

Exactly, and he spoke with determination and seemingly preconceived lines.

A-freakin-men. (And I should add a-freakin-women.)
