Would that be 'local' authorities or 'Fed' authorities? If some NG are deputized, those who are arrested are arrested Federally....bypassing the locals. OR, is that the Mayor sending a bus in to hold Maga's they THINK are going to show up?

If they anticipate all hell breaking loose from protests, the busses would make sense.
Need eyes on that bus to see who goes on and who comes off, how they are treated, and what they do while in the bus. You can arrest the same agitator 8 times if they change clothes on the bus and are released.
