i don't want to get my hopes up too much (again), but if I were going to arrest a bunch of treasonous politicians, one of the big things on my "to do" list would be to swear in a Butt Load of marshals. Just sayin.

I get confused sometimes. Since it is the Dems requesting the vetting....is it the Dems who also requested the deputizing and how would it benefit THEM?

The Marshals deputized police during riots last year. That way the people that get arrested are all charged with federal crimes. They have enough marshals to arrest all the politicians already.

So what can a US Marshall do that a NG soldier can't do?

I've read that they can make Federal arrests, bypassing the local Dems. Anyone?
