Millions of pounds of troups... supplies... equipment has been moved in the last 5 days to DC. Remember Obama had 6000 NG in 12....Trump had 7000 NG in 16...25000+... really
Interesting absence of C-17...largest transport...over the weekend they were all over...also if you see c135s there are fighters up. Those are tankers.
The tankers have been constantly crossing the country all weekend. This would be done to allow the air transport of shorter range planes whereby you don't want them to land. Of course, if they don't sqawk, no one sees them.
Yep, and did you notice there are only 25 aircraft in the air. Normally at this time of the day we're looking at around 150.
Well on a normal day 25 is about right. The figure has been higher the past few weeks.
Where are all the Trainers around Pensacola Fl? There are usually ten to fifteen of them up on any given day by now. I'm showing one in Arkansas.
Some days those trainers don't show until 11 AM.
But I will say its interesting that almost all military activity is composed of transport planes right now.
MLK Day is a National holiday. Would that slow down activity?
Yes and no, Major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Labor Day, Memorial Day and New Years day yes, but minor holidays like MLK, Presidents day Columbus Day no.
Thanks for the info! I need it all.
Across all services, no fly fridays are common. This is because they don't want air crews to break crap on Friday afternoon which require the maintenance guys to work through the weekend. This way, everyone tends to get their weekends off. But... hundreds of air crews have been working non-stop. Likewise, lots of equipment is now transporting via train.
We've got non-stop air tankers crossing the country, which is commonly done when you want to refuel shorter range aircraft without them landing.
So what does that mean? Are they military planes?
I learned this yesterday from another post who helped me understand what they are. (Beginner) Looks like a huge all-around transport plane.
The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is an American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built originally by Lockheed (now Lockheed Martin). Capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings, the C-130 was originally designed as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft. The versatile airframe has found uses in a variety of other roles, including as a gunship (AC-130), for airborne assault, search and rescue, scientific research support, weather reconnaissance, aerial refueling, maritime patrol, and aerial firefighting. It is now the main tactical airlifter for many military forces worldwide. More than 40 variants of the Hercules, including civilian versions marketed as the Lockheed L-100, operate in more than 60 nations.
Does the national guard have c-130s?
yes
Just let biden think they are bringing in party favors for his big day
If something is going on, who ordered it? Trump or....?
OR: They're picking up those troops that indicated support for Trump.
****Excuse me? C-130 aircraft are propeller driven. Never a jet aircraft# # # # ****
Already fixed it.
