Either on twatter or Gab, someone posted to stay away from Parler IF they come back. A lot of data was mined off their site after they went offline. Includind names, posts, likes, memes, etc. I would "assume" the Left could use this data to build a 'bad guy' (patriot) list to harass us. Or harass our employers (I don't have one) into firing us or they will get a boycott.

Side note - if the data has already been stolen, why avoid Parler? Because new data can be stolen?

Yes. CodeMonkeyZ attempted to warn people about this. Bongino attacked him on Twitter.

What say you now, Bongino?

Did Bongino make any public statements about this?

Just an exchange w/ CodeMonkeyz on Twatter

Bongino is not a tech guy, so anything he says comes from Parler people, which means he’s selling the company line.

Not saying I don’t trust him, but on that issue he’s biased

I avoid any site that requires personal information. If they require a credit card to support them, I go elsewhere. If they take bitcoin, but require my name, I go elsewhere. If they allow crypto donations without giving my name, I donate very generously.

Yeah, jump right back in and get your info grabbed again. I never signed up, it never "felt" right and time proved that correct. Sometimes, possibly more now then ever, you gotta trust that inner sense, especially with all the chaff surrounding anything real. Ask for Holy Spirit discernment.

Be afraid! The entire internet is a honeypot!

Parler was always a honeypot.

Took them this long to redirect dns. Fucking retards.

I’d be happy to give them some pointers about hosting providers lol.

I suspect Parler was created as a way to identify Patriots so when the Dems need a list to go after its available for them. It was odd that they required ID.

I called it a honeypot while still on VOAT, and someone told me I didn't know what that means.

But I believe Parler was set up to mine data on people who self-identify as conservative, right-wing patriots, as you said. They set it up to attract a certain subset of people, and those people did flock to Parler in an attempt to get away from Twitter, FB, etc. Now their data has been breached, mined and publicized. The FBI is analyzing those files right now. Sounds like a honeypot to me.

Bongino should have known better. Even Twatter doesn't ask for ID

This was greatly needed.. ThanQ, OP for this message of hope. It shows us a glimpse behind scenes , things are happening for the good.
