We agree. We are not able to clearly see the implications of Pence's actions and what was playing out. I'm disturbed by the suggestions (not fully substantiated) that he has been compromised--but even if that is true--he may still be playing on the right side of history now. All shall be revealed!!
At some point every single one of us is going to have to make a judgement on what the truth of this whole situation actually is and then in the fullness of time take the action or actions that such knowledge affords and requires. Rash actions on incomplete and biased information is fraught with perils. The difficulty is in displaying disciplined and focussed patience with the discernment and wisdom to discard inaccurate incomplete and deceptive data designed to twist and shape opinion. The forces arrayed against the average person were shown in part by the Cambridge Analytica Scandal. Information Warfare is being waged against us all by the media, big tech, state actors, and the whole of the Government itself. So what are we to do? Remain rational and skeptical and temper your personal beliefs as much as is possible. Try not to become a tool for either side or a casualty in the process. The time for retribution and redress of any grievance will come. Try to ensure you are standing in integrity and truth on the right side of history, If the day comes when you must get off your ass and out into the streets to make your voice heard then do so with all of this in mind.Sorry for the wall of text

Indeed. All anyone needs to see is Pence strolling over to say "hello" to Killary at GHW Bush's funeral. Killary leaped out of her seat like a Jack-in-the-Box to greet him, all excited like she just won the lottery or something. Tells us all we need to know right there. But I despised him long before that - before POTUS even put him on the ticket in 2016.
Did he follow the Law of the Land? Did he do the job he was elected to do as laid out in the Constitution? Was he legally empowered to do anything other than what he did? I will submit that whether I like it or not he followed the law of land and did in fact do the job as it is laid out in the Constitution. He may not have liked it, he may not have agreed with it but he was bound to follow through with the established precedent and Law of the Land and Constitution. In the face of threats, bullying, and pressure he executed his responsibility. History will prove this out. I may not like it or agree with it but that does not change the facts. He was bound to do exactly as he did.
