That is plausible.
I'm thinking no one will even arrive for the scheduled inauguration, and some arrests have likely already started. DC is blocked off and is now under military rule. No one but authorized people will go in or out. General Flynn will figure prominently in all this.
I initially thought it was being set up as a trap, to keep people in, but surely by now the bad guys know what's going on, and won't come freely to the inauguration, that is, if they are even free to do so at this point.
Control of the 'airwaves' will take place so that messages can be broadcast to the people, however that may take place, not exactly sure.
I wonder if some Congress people won't show up for work. It would be interesting.
If I had to bet, though I really give it maybe a 50/50 chance, I would bet that it's all over for everyone now, and DC is a different place. That yeah, no one will show up, or if they do they will be detained, many of them. It truly is 'buckle up' this time, now it's real.
