I suggest that you all put on some glasses and start to see what is going on with a bit more clarity. Trump arrived in DC essentially by himself. He had very little support staff. He didn't have a large assortment of folks, with his beliefs ready to step in and take the reigns of government - as Regan did. The GOP/RINOs surrounded him and slid in their folks - not Trump's folks. In terms of the SCOTUS appointments - they went through the Federalist Society (GOP based). These folks were not people that Trump had personal knowledge of. He was going on recommendations. Also, McConnell in the Senate was not going to let just any one through - hence the Federalist Society's hand in all of this.
So you believe all 3 are black hats that fooled President Trump who personally interviewed each one and got HIRED not FIRED by the basis of the Trump Team assessment of each candidate?
Of the 3, only 2 were selections where he had a hand. The third Brett Kavanaugh was the selection of then Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. Kennedy was approached about retiring and letting Trump fill the vacancy. Kennedy would only vacate if Kavanaugh was nominated. All three had the Federalist Society stamp of approval. All three had written histories. All three were not clear cut strict Constitutionalist.
What I'm saying is that based on who McConnell and the Federalist Society were going to let through - this is what he had to select from. In the case of Barrett, there was another woman who would have been better - I think. But, this also goes for the other nearly 200 Judges Trump selected. A lot of them once on the bench - ruled against him. GOP/RINO runs deep.
