Here's a suggestion. Right up a quick post that could be possibly be stickied. Give the how-to's on alternatives. Like how to post from Twitter using nitter as the alternative. Please realize, some people just don't know how to do this or just don't know they even exist.

That's good advice, however I'm one of those who don't know how to use nitter, in fact I've never heard of it. I'm just an old carpenter who knows enough about tech and internet to turn on my laptop and type in a reply box.

For those posting a link to Twitter. Instead of "Twitter.com" in the address, type in "nitter.net".

For those of us that want to open a Twitter link, right click your mouse and select "Copy link". Open a new page and paste the Twitter link on the URL. Then, edit it and replace "Twitter.com" with "nitter.net". Now open the link and it takes you to a nitter.net substitute page.

Why is this important? Every time someone clicks on a Twitter link, the data is recorded and used for marketing revenue dollars. Stop feeding the BEAST.

Thank's for taking the time to explain what the nitter.net site does. I never heard of it until now, but will be using it exclusively from now on when referencing a twitter post.

So, basically, your pretend philosophy is to protest folks being prohibited to communicate via voluntarily not communicating, rather than involve oneself in the communication process in the hopes of correcting the unfair censorship of others, so that the attempt on the part of those who revile & violate human civilization & communication to institute a New Dark Age is successful?

  • - If link is new paste link in top box and save. Copy link.
  • - If link is old paste link in bottom box and search. If it hasn't been archived, save it and copy link. If it has been archived, copy link.
  • Post archive link from Archive.is instead of original link.

i use snippet. I snip the tweet and post it to other social media as a jpg. TThe person on twitter that made the tweet gets the credit but without linking to twitter.
