GOPS folks try to explain the unexplainable .... they may have 'heart' (the definition of a LIBERAL), but they demonstradely have no brain, ethics, moral sense, common sense, value of their position to uphold the Constitution, or ... judgment.... (just a short list of their shortcomings...) ...

FTA: "Some of the House Republicans who supported Wednesday’s impeachment of President Trump are providing detailed explanations for their votes in the face of backlash from GOP loyalists.

Perhaps the most surprising of the 10 GOP yes votes came from Rep. Tom Rice, who represents the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina. Rice was one of the dozens of House Republicans who objected to the formal certification of the Electoral College vote in the hours after both chambers were cleared due to Trump supporters storming the Capitol. But a week later, he chose to impeach a president he has voted with 94 percent of the time.

“I have been with this president through thick and thin. I have supported him in campaigning. I have supported him in voting,” Rice told the Associated Press on Thursday. “It hurts my heart.”

I doubt that President Trump depended on Rice's endorsement to get elected. But Rice probably depended on President Trump's endorsement. "..through thick and thin....?" Bull Shit. at best thru 'thin' and then abandoned the President.

He is done. He is in a Republican strong hold, in a state with three Republican Junior and Senior Senators. governed by McMaster who was literally one of the first supporters of Trump, in a state that called it for Trump at 10PM on election night.

Rice is done. Tim Scott supported the impeachment, too. The only one that stood up for Trump was Joe Wilson. People will actively campaign for Wilson but Rice and Scott kissed their careers goodbye in South Carolina. Literally the ONLY reason Graham is still in office is because democrats spent a quarter of a million dollars backing Jamie Harrison to take Graham's seat. EVERYONE in Grahams district hates him. He won because no one wanted to give that seat to a democrat that had a QUARTER OF A MILLION backing him. Graham's campaign commercials were laughable. After the decades he's been in office the best he could come up with was "Lindsey took care of his sister after their parents died." I am serious. It played nonstop. All those years in office and that's all he had to show for it. He is a traitor and everyone in South Carolina knows it. Rice just added his name to that list. South Carolina needs to get candidates that can beat them.

They can be elected infinitely as long as they do as they're told.

We don't have elections any more. We have dictatorship by fraud.

Their 'careers' are irrelevant.
