What's the disinformation though? His reports always includes links to his sources. His sources are either official documents or he's telling you what someone said. If the official document is lying or the person he is quoting is lying it does not mean he is spreading disinformation. He is simply reporting. It is up to your own discernment to judge whether or not the source is truthful.
Example, if the WH released a memo that said Trump is going golfing today and Solomon reported on that memo and Trump ends up not going golfing, it it bad journalism? Because I'm under the impression that a journalists job is to simply report the news.
Can you point me to a link to his sources in the story I just pasted in my last comment? Is there a direct quote from anyone? Does he provide a source for any of it? Instead it is written in an omniscient voice as if he is stating fact. If it is not fact and it cannot be attributed, then it is an opinion piece masquerading as news--which is in itself disinformation. There are basic journalistic standards. A minimum of one on the record source, two is better. I see no source, no documentation for this report--hence, I am going to disregard it until it is substantiated.
That's just a report about declass. Trump did indeed release documents tied to the Russian hoax. I don't see the problem here. Solomon states this information is from government officials. It really doesn't matter what the source is in this case because he said Trump was declassing and he did. It's an open and shut report within a day. If i said i had an anonymous source that said it will rain hotdogs tomorrow and it started raining hotdogs the next days, does the source matter? So what are you not believing about that report?
It is a story claiming Trump is going to declass. Trump has not, nor has anyone else declassified these documents. Lindsay Graham finally declassified 11 docs from Congressional hearings related to Crossfire Hurricane. That is a separate issue and Graham is no friend to Trump.
There are no sources period in the Solomon piece.
Anonymous sources are unacceptable. No source is unacceptable. I don't believe the report because it has no source.
