As someone who does this kind of shit for a living, there's a lot more involved than simply hosting your own servers, your own dns, etc.

You also have to get your own registrar, negotiate with ISPs (ATT/Verizon/Layer3/GTT/etc) and good luck because those motherfuckers will blacklist you), host your own datacenter on land you own in a safe area with good connectivity options, AND still manage to buy servers from companies which have to agree with you enough to sell to you.

If you start your own ISP, you can get a data line straight from the switch.

Thanks for the breakdown. What way could this be solved? Could there be like a free speech crowd invested way to acquire all these things. I know I would invest.
