As someone who does this kind of shit for a living, there's a lot more involved than simply hosting your own servers, your own dns, etc.

You also have to get your own registrar, negotiate with ISPs (ATT/Verizon/Layer3/GTT/etc) and good luck because those motherfuckers will blacklist you), host your own datacenter on land you own in a safe area with good connectivity options, AND still manage to buy servers from companies which have to agree with you enough to sell to you.

If you start your own ISP, you can get a data line straight from the switch.

Yup, Gab is gone, at least via the webpage.

I was wondering why Trump wanted people texting a particular number some time back, which I did. Perhaps it was to to get info out by texts after losing Twitter, Gab, Parler etc.
