For the record, I'm not Jewish. I'm just seeing some parallels that I think need addressed. The most important question being, is Trump positioning himself to become the Jewish Messiah? I'm not looking to start an argument. Just offering some clues and evidence. Your mature responses and opinions are welcome.

"Six Reasons Why Jews don't believe in Jesus" https://jewsforjudaism.org/knowledge/videos/six-reasons-why-jews-don-t-believe-in-jesus

1. The Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a Descendant of King David AND King Solomon – Jesus did not qualify.

Does Trump fall under any of these categories?

2. Ingathering of the Jewish Exiles – Jesus did not do this.

Trump sort of did this, at least by the way this sounds: "On the heels of the United Nations condemnation of Jewish settlements in what it calls “occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem,” Donald Trump attended Christmas services at a church named after a Jewish site in that very same part of Jerusalem. The president-elect and his wife, Melania, spent Christmas morning at the Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, in Palm Beach, Florida, which is named after its founder’s former congregation, the Episcopal Bethesda Church in Saratoga Springs, New York. The Bethesda church in upstate New York was named after a pool of water (famed for its healing powers) located in eastern Jerusalem, an area where many Jews lived in ancient times, as they do today." - Haven't we all been hearing about how the US needs to heal? 3. Rebuilding of the Holy Temple – Jesus failed to achieve this.

Now, here we see Trump pretty much accomplishing this, no? And this was reported on the 17th. "While our attention is being drawn to wearing masks and social distancing and upcoming vaccines, there is a much closer sign of the Lord’s return about to happen – the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple in Israel. The groundwork for which is being laid right now. The moving of the American Embassy to Jerusalem and President Trump’s declaration that Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel has far reaching implications https://prophesyfortoday.com/2020/07/17/rebuilding-the-third-temple/

4. Worldwide Reign of Peace – Jesus did not accomplish this.

Trump has called for peace numerous times, and this is especially true in his last speech. He has also avoided going to war during his presidency.

5. Observance of the Torah Embraced by All Jews – Jesus didn’t bring this about.

As far as I'm aware, Trump has never mentioned the Torah or made any reference to it. Do any of you know otherwise? Please link to source if you do.

6. Universal Knowledge of G-d – Jesus clearly failed here also.

Trump isn't shy about mentioning God, and he did state that Jesus is the most popular person on the planet. https://www.tmz.com/2020/10/15/president-trump-jesus-christ-most-famous-person/

However, this brings me to wondering how he can believe in Jesus if he's following Jewish teachings - unless he's attempting to become the Jewish Messiah.

I'll leave you with this:

“Trump is not a king in that respect but he is certainly the president of a powerful nation and in that respect he deserves respect,” Rabbi Berger told Breaking Israel News."

Rabbi Kahana emphasized that Trump deserves a great deal of respect for his service as president.

“People should be judged by their actions. And he is certainly done several important things. This is the opposite of Obama who was praised even though he did a disservice to the office.”

“Though it is true that Trump is not technically a king but he is the most powerful ruler of the world,” Rabbi Hollander told Breaking Israel News. “In that sense, Trump is more of a king than other kings.”

Rabbi Berger noted that the blessing of Trump as a king was timely indeed. He cited Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki, the medieval commentator known by the acronym Rashi, explains that this mitzvah is incumbent on Jews who will see the coming of the Messiah. Rabbi Chaim Palag’i, a 20th-century Halachic authority, explained Rashi by noting that by reciting the blessing over a flesh-and-blood king, we will appreciate how much more honor will be given to the king in the days of the Messiah.

“The Messiah will come to fix the mess that has been made of governments around the world, in almost every nation. America and Israel are both having crises in leadership,” Rabbi Berger said. “We are seeing that democracy simply does not work. The Bible does not talk about democracy. If the U.S. had a king, there would not be any spurious impeachment process or pointless investigations. Democracy allows people who hate the country, who hate God, and even hate half of the people, to run the country. This breakdown of government is intended to turn people to the real king.”

“The blessing is intended to be recited upon seeing a king and there are significant differences between a president and a king. As we are witnessing right now, a president can be impeached as the result of political whims. A king cannot be impeached."

“If Israel had a king, there would not be any election reruns,” Rabbi Berger said. “Since David was the king, he went out and dealt with the Philistines in a true and decisive manner. Because Israel does not have a king, it is 70 years and we are still getting attacked by the same Philistines.”

“We need the real king and all this conflict over how to run the country will end with the emergence of the true king,” Rabbi Berger said. https://www.israel365news.com/139943/rabbi-blessing-trump-as-king-shows-he-is-the-final-president-before-the-return-of-davidic-dynasty/

Dec. 16, 2018: "RABBI: AUTISTIC CHILDREN SAY MESSIAH IS HERE, PREPARE FOR FINAL WAR"

Rabbi Samuel emphasized that the prophecies are warning the world to prepare for a great change.

“They have been saying more and more that the geula (redemption) is very close,” Rabbi Samuel said. “But before it comes, there will be a horrible war – the likes of which has never been seen. Entire cities, huge, urban centers, will be destroyed. The United States will be unrecognizable after the war.”

“The children are frustrated that we cannot see this even though the beginnings are already here,” he said. “They tell me they are tired of telling people that the geula is close when people refuse to listen, refuse to change their actions.”

“Daniel frequently describes a large star that will approach the Earth and though it will not hit the planet, it will cause great damage,” Rabbi Samuel said. “Scientists have never seen anything like this so they don’t know what to expect. But it is coming closer, which is why we are seeing more earthquakes, volcanoes, and hurricanes than ever before. As it comes closer, this will only increase.” https://www.israel365news.com/118765/rabbi-autistic-children-say-messiah-is-here-prepare-for-final-war/

All I have left to say is that we are living in interesting times. I'm a firm believer in God, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Remember, prayer works, but God works in mysterious ways, so fasten your seatbelts. It seems no matter what, we're in for a bumpy ride.

I haven't heard about "temple fever" yet. Thanks for offering to provide some insight into this. Enjoy your evening and be safe.
