The House of Representatives will vote later Wednesday on an article of impeachment accusing Trump of inciting an insurrection during last week’s Capitol riot, but the Senate is not due to reconvene until Jan. 19 — the day before Biden’s inauguration.

You cant impeach a citizen that no longer holds office

He's already been impeached after the vote of the House today. They won't be able to remove him from office if he's not still President of course; but if he's found guilty by the Senate he will be ineligible to hold any Federal office ever again.
