Amazon, Microsoft, Apple and other companies have shut down support for Parler, making it internet dead.

However, a number of people downloaded all the data right before it was shut down. That data is both fascinating and deeply disturbing.

Apparently, before the shutdown, they were some holes in the security of the site; but were those holes left on purpous?

With respect to what that article tries to argue:

Back on Voat, not that anyone has to listen to me, I always argued and practiced, fine to say that such and such criminal, or criminals in general guilty of capital crimes such as treason should be executed, but ALWAYS include your full context of, after lawful trial and conviction.

Because for damn sure such cases will be used against us, twisting the meaning to be for lawless murder, if we do not take that care to be clear.

Good practice, but taking things out of context is their speciality.

Oh sure, they'll lie no matter what, including claiming that Trump calling for peace and going home is "inciting violence." The issue is whether to aid their claims in gaining traction, or to make it where an honest average person will see that they are lying, that (for example) on the boards or on Parler people are calling for lawful trials and lawful punishments for crimes.
