65 is a bit young. my dad could still shoot as good at 65 as when he was a young man.

Your dad might be able to shoot at 65 but he's not in touch with what's affecting the 25 year olds of today.

Last time a 65 year old in 2020 knew what it was like to be 25, it was still the 70s.

Let him be grandpa or get involved in other aspects of the community, but he doesn't need to be leading the country in his 70s when he's so far removed from those in the prime of their lives and their fingers on the pulse of the times.

Seeing as how he could build a home with his own hands, farm, and fix anything, I'd have put him against any 25 year old anyday. The problem is that folks who are too young have no practical and sustained experience and the too elderly can have lost touch.

I stand by what I said. 65 is a bit too young to write off.
