That's the most likely explanation, the Army does love their helicopters. As I said, it's interesting but being that close to a major Army base, it's not really notable (at least not to me.)
I see weird crap all the time at the local international airport, but it's just because it's a good stopover point.
There were as many as 30 Black Hawks active across the US. That seems like a lot. Maybe a coordinated drill?
Possibly. They may be giving them flight readiness tests, just in case.
