Evidence is shown that an organization like Antifa was contracted to lead the event and the capital police were deliberately understaffed and directed to cooperate. Media was alerted and provided a schedule of events. The stated purpose of this false flag operation would be to derail the effort to protest the election, to reestablish control over the growing dissent in Senate ranks, and to discredit anyone questioning the legitimacy of the election. This would also be a prelude to a move to remove the president by use of the 25th amendment or impeachment.
If this was the plan, it worked out well and if it was not planned, it was certainly a fortuitous set of coincidences.
