Yea, so the battle of the Alamo ended with the good guys losing and getting slaughtered. Obviously eventually won but that particular battle was a huge loss. Remember the Alamo was the battle cry to remember the devastating slaughter and channel that into action and not let the Mexicans repeat their victory.
The Alamo is where we are now. But, nothing can stop what is coming. Liberation begins after the Alamo. This event then and now is the catylist for the victory.
Yea, it was a special battle. It was like the 300 at Thermopylae, they shouldn't have done as well as they actually did in spite of the loss. Texas has a really interesting history, we are forced to learn it all through middle school and junior high, well we did back when I was that age. Texas makes damn sure you grow up understanding that you are really from another country in a sense, a Texan first then an American.
