Got my general radiotelephone and amateur license (tech, upgraded to a no-code general) about 25 years ago. Haven't used it much lately. Used to be big into CB radios and still have my old Antron 99-4A up in the attic. Good post.

Well you certainly have more time in the General class than I do. The code was our stumbling point back in 70s. Bunch of us wanted to make the move but the Idea of send/ rec 5 words in a minute scared us off. Wish I'd been less foolish
