This morning I listened to a video by Jordan Sather who questioned both the statements about "Pope arrested" and "Trump signed Insurrection Act." He questioned both pointing to the source that Lin wood got the first "fact" and discredited Parkes and a couple of other folks putting out the Insurrection act story. I posted both of these stories on this board, not claiming they were true, but also not doing enough research to responsibly question them. I want to own my part in pushing out disinformation. This is a formal apology for "gaslighting" anyone. I will do my part to critically challenge, question, and dig deeper to shed light on any statements of facts.

Thanks to those on here who have pushed me to do better.

Yes- but in the future I want to be sure to dig a little to at leas raise questions about the validity of others posts. It was amazing to see how viral Lin, Parkes, and others statements were spread, with very little critical thinking. We all are susceptible to pushing information without question, but it was a good reminder to me to at least take a deeper look and frame the information as unverified, if not down right implausible.

Yeah, that's the issue, which he's apologizing for. Sharing verifiably false incorrect information. Which is a major problem in theese communities.

Yeah some here do get a little trigger happy with info.
