"The Day After" was filmed near where I went to high school. Remember them hiring local as stand in actors some days. Even remember Michael Landon out there drinking what appeared to be straight white liquor. Checked the producers list he wasn't on it, so maybe he was in the acutal movie? Can't remember, haven't seen that movie in 37 years I guess.
